    RE-CYCLE YOUR BICYCLE DRIVE

What's Good and the Village of Fairport is bringing a R Community Bikes Inc bicycle drive to Fairport. Your donated bike will be given some TLC then given away for free to needy children and adults in the Rochester area. Sometimes bicycles are the only means of transportation some adults have. And there's no question, bikes bring joy and fun to kids.

    WHAT
Take a look in your garage, barn, shed or basement for any and all bikes you may have that don't fit or work, or you just never ride. Bring your bike (or bikes) to the parking lot at Fairport Village Landing on April 27. R Community Bikes will have staff on hand to accept your bike(s). Collected bikes will then be returned to their headquarters where they will be inspected, repaired, cleaned up and given out as needed.

TBD, but we may even have some folks on hand to help you with some minor repairs to the bikes you're keeping.

While you're digging through your stuff, please note R Community Bikes will also accept bike parts, tools, and other bike-related items. If you're sitting on a fancy Lemond or the like, no worries, they'll take that too. After some TLC, they'll sell it to the highest bidder to help fund expenses. It helps them cover expenses such as bike drive trucks, tires, tubes, locks, cables and helmets.

Don't have a bike? They're always in need of $ and volunteers!
